Fried Carrot

Wash the carrots and boil them whole in salted water for 10 minutes. Peel off the skins after they cool. Slice diagonally half an inch thick. Put the flour, baking powder, paprika and salt in a deep bowl. Gradually add water to form a watery dough. Heat the oil in the pan, dip the carrot slices into the mash and fry them one by one. Take it out and drain excess oil on a paper napkin. Serve hot.

You can use 2 tablespoons of mineral soda instead of baking soda. If you wish, you can serve it with yogurt on the side.
